In Finnish saunas, the air is hot and dry, and the walls of the room are covered with wood. The stepped platform allows for enjoying different temperatures. The temperature in the steam room ranges from 80-95 degrees Celsius.
The heat source is the hot sauna stones, which are briefly moistened by throwing water on them.
The full effect of the sauna comes from alternating between cold and hot phases – each time you sit on the platform, it should be followed by cooling off with cold water or fresh air.
Sauna towels are included in the price. Refreshing drinks are available for purchase on-site.
